Six Years of Wags: September Highlights at Faye’s

September has been a month for celebrating our 6th anniversary, hosting a Pawlympics event, and more unforgettable moments here at Faye’s Doggy Boutique.
From welcoming new pups to daycare to celebrating some special birthdays, September has given us so many reasons to smile. This month also marked a massive milestone for us as we marked our 6th anniversary. We’re privileged to have had six amazing years of caring for, playing with, and loving the dogs that make our daycare so special!
We also had a blast running our very own Pawlympics, where the pups showed off their skills, speed, and playful energy. To top it all off, we’ve been capturing plenty of heart-melting moments on camera. September’s snaps are some of our favourites yet.
Six Years of Wags & Woofs
This September marked a very special milestone for us as our small business turned six! We can hardly believe how quickly the years have flown by, and we couldn’t let the occasion pass without a proper celebration. Both our four-legged friends and their humans were treated to goodies, with dog-friendly treats for the pups and plenty of sweet snacks for the people.
Before the celebrations began, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us over the last six years. Running a business certainly has its challenges, but caring for your dogs and working alongside such an incredible team has been the greatest joy. We feel so lucky that this is our job, and we’re already looking forward to many more years filled with wagging tails, happy faces, and wonderful memories.
Let the Pawlympics Begin!
We hosted our very own Faye’s Pawlympics this September, and what a fun day it was! Our pups took in five fun-filled rounds designed to test their skills, speed and focus. First up was the hurdles round, where Chloe stepped in as judge to score the speedy contenders as they leapt over the mini jumps. Round 2 brought another set of hurdles, but this time we added a circle hoop into the mix for an increased challenge.
Next up was Round 3: Sit & Stay, once again judged by Chloe, where we put our furry competitors’ patience and obedience to the test. Then came the one that all the dogs were hoping they’d get picked for – treat-catching! The pups locked their eyes on the prize and their mouths snapped at just the right moment. Finally, we wrapped up with Round 5: Weaving, where the dogs dashed and darted their way through five cones. Our Pawlympians were all winners in our eyes!

This Month’s Birthday Stars
We had some extra special reasons to celebrate this month, with three of our gorgeous pups marking their big days at daycare. First up was Sydney, who turned one! Our beautiful girl was spoiled with cuddles, playtime, and plenty of tasty biscuits to share with her friends.
Next, we celebrated Ariel’s 4th birthday. Ariel is such a ray of sunshine every week, always making us laugh with her cheeky personality, and it was a joy to shower her with birthday love.
Finally, our sweet Mochi turned three. This gorgeous girl had the best time with her pals, soaking up the attention and, of course, a few extra treats along the way.
Meet September’s New Pups
September saw some fresh faces join our family, including Teddy the Chihuahua, who instantly hit it off with Wizard – the start of a beautiful friendship! Brian, the Black Lab, also joined the fun, making Clover his new best friend. We also got to meet the adorable Sonny the Pomapoochon, who settled in so well, and we can’t wait to see him again.
Our Friday group was brightened by the arrival of Tux the Whippet, a graceful little pup who fit right in from the start. We also had double the cuteness with two gorgeous sausage pups, Ivy and Garth, both of whom won everyone’s hearts straight away.
Finally, we welcomed a very special addition, Murphy, Molly’s new puppy! He started as a slightly nervous boy but has been learning the ropes beautifully and growing in confidence each day.
