Five of the Best Places to Walk Your Dog in Liverpool

Thursday 2nd May 2019

As a responsible dog owner, it’s your duty to provide your beloved pet with regular exercise. Dogs need regular exercise, ideally in the form of daily walks, for a variety of reasons. Walks help to keep your dog in top physical condition while also improving socialisation skills and decrease the likelihood of behavioural issues developing. Whether it’s a beautiful park or a sandy beach, Liverpool has no shortage of top destinations when it comes to dog walking.

We have rounded up some of the best places to walk your dog in Liverpool…

Calderstones Park

Calderstones Park in South Liverpool is one of our favourite spots and a regular choice for our dog walks. This beautiful park provides all the space dogs need to run wild.

Formby Beach

When it comes to beach walks, you can’t go wrong with Formby Beach which is just a short drive from Liverpool. Dogs always love a change in environment!

Croxteth Park

Croxteth Park is a lively place for families, runners and dog walkers. This country park offers woodland and even ponds for your dog to get mucky in!
